I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by Carewell Kasilag

Even when your miles away,

My love for you will always stay.

Like the green grass and leafy trees,

It grows day by day.

I love you like the moon

Whose loyalty is seen in the night.

And at day, out of sight

But at dark times--

Never fails to give you light.

I love you like the sun

That burns bright among the stars

Infinite as the earth

And burst  among the clouds

I love you like a song

That I never fail to sung

To your words and rhythm--

I clung.

Even when your words stung.

I love you as time stand still

And as life create its thrill.

As moments comes and pass.

My love for you shall not last.

My love isn't written on the sand,

That waves easily wash away.

It is written in stone.

Etched by the permanent blade.

It may sway with the wind,

But it stands tall as a mountain

And remains as the blue sky.

For my love, it is strong.

I love you like the words

That stabbed better than swords.

I love you like the ocean.

That fill most of the earth.

I love you with any sensation.

And any mad passion put to use

I love you with a river of emotion

That never fails to flow.

My love you are a spring after winter,

A warmth to my shiver.

In my love..

I beg you to linger.

In your eyes, Lies the west.

Where the sun rise to rid the dark

And as for the east--

I believe no sunset.

For my love, my infinity

You love me too.
