Just Ranting 4 "Spoken From The Heart"A Poem by Careless DreamerThis will probably be my last rant. I have more things to focus on in my life other than telling these simple minded people what they need to do in order for them to better their lives. So let's begin with Facebook and all the bullshit that comes along with it..(this may take a bit) Yes, this is a social network and people use it as an outlet to express their views and opinions.. (I'm cool with that because I do the same.) But it becomes a bit ratchet when everyday when you log on and read some of the statuses and comments posted on here. Your status basically defines who you are as a person and what your mindset is at that moment in time. But keep in mind, not everything that goes on in your life needs to be shared with the world. Who gives a damn about when you're getting your next piece of dick or how good that p***y tasted. Certain things need to be left unsaid and kept behind closed doors.. The message you are sending is "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M STARVING FOR ATTENTION". Are you that shallow that you have to resort to vulgarity in order to be noticed?? And don't give me that bullshit about "OH I'M JUST KEEPING IT REAL or I'M JUST VERY OUTSPOKEN." Just like wearing makeup, less can actually be more. Leave something to the imagination and you will find a different type of people will be drawn to you. And they will be drawn to you not because of what you flaunt, but because they want to know you as a person. Moving right along. Let's speak on something that for the life of me, I fail to understand... Why in the hell are we referring to ourselves as GHETTO as if it is a badge of honor?? Growing up, I watched GOOD TIMES just like everyone else. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they were scratching and surviving to get out of the GHETTO. Obviously we got the game twisted because as the years progressed we got our priorities fucked up. Now I'm hearing songs where people praise the GHETTO and make it seem like it is the greatest place to be and people saying with pride "I'M GHETTO". So what, does that mean because you live or have lived in the ghetto that you are tougher than the next person? You have more street credibility?? Give me a f*****g break.. It means that you have not put your best foot forward to better yourselves or you have simply become complacent with the situation you are in and just simply accepted it. Either way, it's a fucked up way to live. Think about it and get your mind right. Lastly, I want to speak about consideration for others. We communicate with each other through various mediums. Be it Facebook, Google Plus and a wide array of other social networking sites. If you post something out of the ordinary or if it seems outside of your normal character, people will either comment on the post or they will try to contact you in some other fashion like inboxing. Keep in mind that words have power. Whether it is written or spoken word. There is inflection in those words and how you express yourself can be taken in many different ways. So if a person comes at you in a certain way, find out why they approached you in such a manner before going on the defense. I tried to speak from the heart with this one and not use a bunch of profanity. My vocabulary is far more vast than that...#end of the lesson...
