Love Will Warm the HeartA Poem by EmmaA Shakespearean sonnet.Love Will Warm The Heart
The night is cold and frost clings to the trees. It shines like diamonds in the pale moonlight. Fading flowers send up their silent pleas, And yet, their dying petals become white.
Snow begins to softly fall to the ground, It disguises what has shriveled and died. Will these once beautiful blossoms be found? Or will their tragic tales forever hide?
Sorrow has frozen these two hearts also. What was once warm, the cold has now destroyed, And soon there will be none that even know, What occupied this space before the void.
But tender love, will always warm the heart, And it can mend what has been torn apart.
