True Love is a Bullet

Romeo and Juliet was not a love story. Infatuation, yes, but not love. People do not fall in love in five days. They were just two kids who got caught up in themselves so much they believed the only solution was to die a martyr’s death.

 

Bonnie and Clyde though, that was love. They killed and robbed and traveled the country, and no matter how many times they were caught, they always found each other again.

 

And while Romeo and Juliet killed themselves before they even made a stance against the world, Bonnie and Clyde were destroyed by it. They knew from the start the law would catch up, but it didn't bother them. They found the beauty in their inevitable death, and greeted it with hands clasped tight.
