Under the MoonA Poem by Caraline_NelsonOctober 25, 2015We walked outside, hot cocoa consumed. Went on an adventure, out under the moon. On our way, found a playground with nobody there. Hopped on two swings and started to share.
We told stories of youth and looked up at the stars. Then he kicked off one shoe, and it went super far.
We sat by a bench near a river and stared. Talk about life with his face in my hair.
He gave me a hug and then with a wave. "Please do drive careful." “Let me know when you’re safe.”© 2016 Caraline_NelsonAuthor's Note
