Oh Muse! My Muse!

Oh Muse! My Muse!

A Poem by Caradoc
"

Would it change a thing? Or is it all the same to you?

"

Oh Muse! My Muse! My Bittersweet Muse!
Do you see that mirror on the wall?
Peer into its amber green depths
Does my sorrow, does my pain
Reflect in you at all?
Can you spot the fractured truth
Upon the crystalline steps
Hidden by the shine
Of those perfect pristine lies?

Oh Muse! My Muse! My Tourmaline Muse!
Can you save me? Am I free?
Do I see the mourning in your eyes?
Are those tears or winter rain
Upon your pale face I see?
Can I touch your sorrow and ease your soul?
Paint your broken heart across the skies?
Is the love I gave you even mine?
Or the lonely remnants of the scattered night?

Oh Muse! My Muse! My Shimmer Gloomed Muse!
If the mirror could reveal all to thee
Do you think you could see, me?
Or are we just two shadows on the wall,
Trapped forever 'tween winter, spring, and fall?
Are we the loneliest of all?
