Regret

Regret

A Poem by Caradoc
"

...

"

to you whom i professed to love
i am sorry
for every bruise, every laceration,
and each stab wound i dealt
to the fragile heart you
left in my care

and even though i know
words are empty
they are all i have

this is more for me than you
anyway as
you'll never read these lines

i pen this simply to remember my regret
