A Dream

A Dream

A Poem by Caradoc
"

One last piece from the Poet Prince to a Queen from long ago...

"

i dreamt of you today
you don't often cross my mind
but there you were
i heard your voice across the other line
i'd almost forgotten the sound
hard to understand as always
i asked you to repeat your words
i smile now at the thought

yet i am sad

we will not meet again
and your voice i'll only hear in dreams
your smile, for me, exists
only in pictures i still keep

we will not meet again
this ink will soon run dry

This is so sad, but I can relate all too well. I read KL's poem like a lot of people and that's why I came to read some of your stuff, I keep reading because your poetry is really good. The last line hits like a bullet, but I hope it never does

Ah this is beautiful, and darkly romantic. I feel people are very much missing the boat by not stopping by.

Yes. I dreamt of an ex and I woke feeling the need to write. This is what came of it.
