Ten Words

"Ten word stories" cobbled together into an ugly facade of something slightly resembling coherence.

"Each heartbeat is a storm I must keep bottled..."

"Listen closely now, each silent note is an unwritten saga..."

"Disturbing the ashes, desperately trying to spark a dead flame..."

"The poet inscribes his soul; each line a separate tale..."

"My open hand; passage to everything the fairy tales promised...

"My secrets are plain to see, if you'd only look..."

 "At the twilight of my life, you're my only regret..."

"You're the inspiration for every love story I never wrote..."

"You always wondered how the story ends; the hero dies..."

"Broken, stabbed, immolated, betrayed; yet the heart refused to die...

"You never got back to me; that conversation remains unfinished..."

"We are footprints in the sand on a windy day..."

"I shall lay down my pen and write no more..."

Author's Note

I wrote them all at different times. I wondered what they might look like together.

Well these certainly leave me in awe. So many of these lines are quite amazing and extremely dark, there is a crazy amount of depth to them. I really can't pick which one I like best because as I read one I think it's my favorite, then I read another and it is my favorite again. Honestly, amazing job with these!
