Silence

Silence

A Poem by Caradoc
"

...

"

i must quiet the poet
somehow
his observations are far too painful
this weak spirit cannot abide
the reality my weary words seem to write

i have to cease the outpouring lines
someway
their hidden truths maim me ever more
my broken heart cannot survive
the bleak and bleary future they foretell

somewhere, someday

i must silence the poet inside.

While the poem itself is well written, it is very dark and lonely in its message. This poet has much to say, and should not be silent. In structure, I love the use of someway -- very effective.
