Retribution

Retribution

A Poem by Caradoc
"

...

"

It's said failure makes one human,
Forgiveness is the province of divinity.
Yet did not God say;
"Vengeance is mine"?

You thought me weak,
And did not see.
I turned the other cheek,
To hide,
The Retribution in my eyes.

Hahaha! Love that "RAWR" at the end. Thanks for reading. :)
I am so honoured to have inspired you, my friend. This piece is very beautiful. I had trouble with my internet for several days and am just catching up now. Making turning the other cheek into something else entirely. A really smart write.:)
