If Only You KnewA Poem by Captain Rilen
As the trees whisper,
and crickets creak. Your image lingers, Your eyes speak. Your smile falters, it appears you feel weak. If only you knew, the answers you seek. The world around you, it's colourful, not bleak. There will come a time, when you stand at its peak. Though now it's harsh, and you may feel meek. It won't be long, 'til you're again complete. My feet press on, my heart continues to beat. If only you knew, what you mean to me.
