Lights and DeathA Poem by Captain UglyA topograph
Tatters of a hope now shredded. Memories of life embedded.
Illusions brought on by confusing dreams. Luminary haunts; not cognizant beams. Trickling remembrances of dammed streams.
My, once empty, hopeless sepulcher now alive with late burning overtures.
Lights rape my sympathetic somnolence. © 2009 Captain Ugly |
