Fighter Withers Slowly

Fighter Withers Slowly

A Poem by Captain Ugly
"

A chant

"

blood explodes

a blooming rose

as meteor fist

hits mountain nose

demons dance as the mob voice chants

and the fighter withers slowly

eyes bulge wide

the rising tide

as knuckles rain down

planets collide

demons sing as the time bell rings

and the fighter withers slowly

God counts ten

and no one wins

as concerned brothers

come rushing in

demon's choir shrieks as life expires

and the fighter withers slowly

Love this as well, this is wonderful.

Lovely duality to this... beautifully illustrated without once referring to boxing and so reminiscent of other more natural battles. Fighters and gods... what's the difference? Great dance in the words and lovely pacing in the lines. Good write. XXC

I like the visuals on this. Again, another writing of yours with smooth flow and good tempo.
