Defiant Peace

Defiant Peace

A Poem by Captain Ugly
"

Swill from my odd-shaped head. Swill!

"

For blatant monsters we pine their collapse,
That jagged teeth may dull or fall to rot,
And in being toothless, so be entrapped
To flop and revel in their devil’s lot.
But still, be aware of your own dark ties
While damning Hell to it‘s fiery berth,
Hating such hatred could well jeopardize,
Your blessed light and your own precious worth,

For you maybe of stately connection:
Clean-smelling skin and whitest of teeth,
One slight dip in a pool of defection
Could topple you from your high judgment seat,
Forgiveness guards hearts from slow collection
Of evil love bathes with defiant peace.
