Repetition is the chicken soup of poetry.

I tried, I tried, I tried.
I went through the motions, perfect smile on my face.
I lied, I lied, lied.
I’m better now, yes I’m okay.
I am, I am, I am.
But when you found out you didn’t reassure.
‘’You lied, lied, lied.’’
Have I got your attention now, I want to scream, I want to bleed
I lost, I lost, I lost.
I lost it.
