Personal Biopoem

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

Life is a blank canvas waiting for you to paint on it.
Sarcastic, mean, shy, and vain.
Writing, music, scenery, and nature.
Criticism, ignorance, reality, and incompetence.
Lover of love, green, candles, and clothes.
Who feels belonging, yet neglect, blank, and out of reach.
Who needs fulfillment, happiness, and a future.
Who fears clowns, small spaces, and drowning.
Who gives gifts, personality, and optimism.
Who respects good advice, a strong opinion, and a good time.
Who would like to see miracles happen, the earth as it was, and you getting what you deserve.
Kind hearted…
Yet vengeful.
Tired of being as I am sometimes.
Who learns by ones own mistakes.
Who leads with a torch of fire.
Who follows by your side.
Slowly becoming immortal.
