My try at a Medieval Ballad..

As the sun sets upon my skin,

Everything seems so dark.

I long for the day my love stays

Forever in your heart.

 

I've noticed I'm getting tired...

Everything seems blurry.

And even in my vivid dreams,

I still feel your worry.

 

My Apologies, oh lover...

I've sent you a sparrow,

And surely it will sing to you

As my bed gets narrow.
