Bound

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

Everyone looks good in the dark,

But you...you look good in the light too.

Our bodies moved as one as you

Took me from behind,

Took my hands,

And danced.

Everyone looks good in the dark,

But you...you look good in the light too.

I was sitting on your lap,

As we sat cheek to cheek.

You kissed it tenderly...

Then it moved to our lips.

Everyone looks good in the dark,

But you...you look good in the light too.

Our tongue's collided.

I was caught in this beautiful moment

That I've thought of a few times before.

I'm sorry T.J.F.

Everyone looks good in the dark,

But you...you look good in the light too.

Francesco...

You're the reason my heart is beating right now..

You're who I'm thinking of,

But I have to make it stop.

Everyone looks good in the dark,

But you...you look good in the light too.
