Party of Two

Party of Two

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

Harry and Harriette

Were just a lovely couple.

They owned a house

Which was a few feet tall,

And to get in, they had to crawl.

Harry walked to his work on the farm,

And he also made sure that he was in the way of no harm.

Harriette woke up with alarm,

Harry had left without his goodluck charm.

Harry and Harriette

Were just a lovely couple.

Now she owned the house

Which was a few feet tall,

And to get in, she had to crawl.
