Air-bag Safety

Air-bag Safety

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

I drove along route 3

On my way to the store.

I turned on the radio

To get some news,

And the roaring voice cried at the horror.

I stared at the radio in shock,

But by accident, I turned my wheel.

I looked up and came face to face

With a big red truck.

The story on the news wasn't the only

Horror of that day.

The message is clear. The flow, feeling, and expression are good. I like this poem, and not because it sends chills down my back but because I can drift into it. At point that I might suggest is to connect, this phrases a little better
To get some news,
And the roaring voice cried at the horror.
You can float into this, which might be the best or jerk into it to emphasize the horror.
Nice read againthanks for sharing it with us

I was prepared for this one. Short and very cute, it reminds me of a commercial playing for safety. I like the feel of your write here. I also like the strong message here about paying attention while driving.. good write!
