Trip at the River

Trip at the River

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

I sat at the river,

Minding my own,

When a little man

And his child I saw

Floating along.

Their boat was small,

But the winds sure weren't,

The boat tipped and sank,

Now their death had occured,

The little man and his child were sent above.

Sad...yet simply and directly written.

This is a good read. Have flow, poise, and rhythm. In addition, there is no doubt the message is perfectly clear (Sad). Therefore, I agree with what "Flow" said, what in the world drove you to write this well written piece. Thanks for sharing.
