Dear James,

Dear James,

A Poem by Jessica L Auster

Hello friend.
I understand if you don't want to talk to me again.
I guess I'm used to it by now.
I'm sorry what I've done to your relationship with your girlfriend.
Now my heart's in my throat.
I don't want to feel this way,
But saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do.
I don't know how long this'll last,
But I sure as hell don't want it to be long.
I love you, sweetheart...I mean...James.
I wish I could dedicate this song to you (Don't wanna Miss a Thing),
But I'm not sure if I should.
My intentions were to never separate you two,
Sorry it almost came to it.
You can stop me anytime from continuing.
So I guess this is just goodbye?

Ps.
I'll never forget the memory of you. You'll always have a place in my heart.
