Deconstruct

Deconstruct

A Poem by Jeremy Michael White

Scary and frightening this dark and bleak place

Standing at the wall and hesitant to move on

Should I not navigate safely pain is to be felt

But this pain is necessary to move forward, yes

Tip toe in and feel it begin

Pain washes over the face

Standing scared, let it begin

Face to face with the chase

Fully enveloped, scared with no plce to go

Blows of pain and hate from distant memory

Bit by bit the repressed boldly explodes

But this pain is necessary to move forward, yes

Now I'm here and finally in

Torment the name of this place

Crouching, crying, not within

Unstable and broken base
