Dream....

Dream....

A Poem by Jeremy Michael White

The dream crawled out from behind its shadow

Reaching for light but hesitant to shake

To shake hands with reality, with the world

Linger in limbo, the cracks turn to break

No answer nor clue to the gold in You

Breaking through the red turns blue

Simple breaths and the eyes sweet, too

Surf zone waves are never untrue

Crack in the sidewalk feels trampled

Feet stomp and clomp all over

The horizon cries as she sets the sun

Demons fight on the 4-leaf clover

Call it orange but I see blue

Caressing and enjoying You

Integrating all thoughts into

Simple thoughts that must be true
