End and Begin

End and Begin

A Poem by Jeremy Michael White

Awestruck! Hypnotized by the surreal

As the setting sun descends behind the apex of a mountain

My eyes are drawn irrevocably to the lucid, mango,

luminescent dome exploding into the sky

The vivid natural scenery surfacing an emotion

I can't seen to express

So, okay, this is it

There is nothing left to write

As I look into the skies --

This has become too difficult to describe

This an anthropomorphic manifestation of a descendence into the Self

This indescribable confusion; an illusion to the feeling of the "I"

This is the ironic catastrophe of lyrical confusion

A new rhythmic phenomenon, a symbolic illusion

You're still trapped in the center of your brainwashed minds delusion

Only you can help yourself

Wouldn't it be so great

It hate was an unknown word and anger is absurd

The brick red bomb of this sunset globe

Burning the blue out of the day

Scorching the clouds to scabs

The process is violent; the end is so dark

but the transfrmation -- the middle ground

is both the end and the start
