Brink of a Blink

Brink of a Blink

A Poem by Jeremy Michael White

The fiery core of exaltation is expanding in pulses

leaking spotlights of energy through its shell of a cell

Shell walls crumbling away like dead, falling petals

A moment of silence in the wake of a paradox

Explosion!

O, awakening of the righteous image within--

explore so far as you may reach; you are me and I am all

The spinning waves of the world play a jukebox theme of nostalgic tranquility

And the lounge on the rail faces outward and keeps moving forward

The entirety of eternity on the brink of a blink
