Days Work

Days Work

A Poem by Capaneus

It’s all in a days work

It’s all of a days worth

It’s all of a day that could have been worse

Somewhere between last place and the first

Spending the day outside of a hearse

    It always amazes

    The intricate maze is

    Renewing each faze again unrehearsed

    Replaying redundant roles in reverse

Retelling the same in which we’re immersed

    Indominal Nation

    that done innovation

    Drawn on deviation

    Their bubble burst

Corrupt and complacent crumbles to earth

    Prevarication prevalence curse

    What fun it’ll be

    How phenomenally

When inevitably We dance upon Earth

And I wanna be standing by the first

So well on our way to chasm traversed

    We’re gonna get there

    Only wonder is where

On the way back to fair

    “life

    stops

    on the way

    Brazen and bold

    prophetically

    breakin the mold

    for penchant decay
