My Heros

My Heros

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

who are your hero?

"
That man you see
holding a child
crossing the street
he is my hero

that women with that briefcase
and that grin smeared on her face
she is my hero

that boy sticking up for the small man
and that small man with flowers for his fist
they are my hero

they are mine

all the small battles they've crossed
and all the wars they've probably fought
they are my heroes
