Dear, Jocelyn

Dear, Jocelyn

A Story by Kaspar Carr
"

This is the first time (i think) i have used my loves name in my writting i do this beacusei want people to know who i am deeply in love with

"

As I cry,
and spill these words and these tears on this paper.

I hope I mean the world to you,
and I swear to God, I'll stay true.
And I swear to God, I'll see us through.
And I swear I'll make the pain and suffering you knew,
no longer even matter to you.

For when sadness makes my angel cry,
each time I feel a part of me die.
And it becomes my life's mission to make you smile.
Even though it may take me awhile.

Because I am blind, and yet I can see.
Because the light you gave
illuminates the world for me.

And maybe the reason you never ceased to be,
was so that God could show you,
you're allowed to be happy.
And I hope that job is reserved for me.

I want to make this the best thing I ever wrote.
Something for future lovers to quote.
Because I believe you deserve nothing less,
than true happiness and the very best.

I'm so glad that you're so near.
Because losing you is my biggest fear.

you let me forget the pain of my past.
with your promise that our feelings will last.

The sound of your voice shakes me to my core.
And i want to keep talking to you more and more.
When I hear your voice I swear I can soar.

And all of these emotions are put in these words so true
So ready or not, I'm going to say them to you.
And even though you probably already knew.

Dear Jocelyn,

I really really love you.
