Fiction and reality,

Fiction and reality,

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

the lines are not the same any more

"

The sickening sweet sounds of ' I love you '
But did you, do you?
I was foolish to believe in you, trust you.

You had your times with me,
And I know, I shall not forget.
For that it made me happier than I could be,
And now, I'm floating between what is fiction, and what reality can give me.

You only had my heart,
And you only threw it into a bottomless pit,
Do I have to go chase it down?
Or one day, will you rescue it?

These days were long,
Winter days lasted forever.
Without you, I was nothing but a mess.
A mess that no one could truly clean up.

Seeing your smile makes me happy,
You make me happy..
I would like you to know that,
I will always wait for you to come back with my heart.
