Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

PLEASE please dont fuckn go not tonight! please please damn it i am going to fuckn lose any mind i have had left please damn it please

"

As I sit here watching you walk away
My mouth moves to speak
But again, I can't even breathe
I can't even feel my heart's beat
Don't walk away, not again tonight

As you walked away
Your eyes, they said it all
Our hearts used to sing so sweetly
But then, they knew it all
But not tonight

I'll turn this music up till my ears bleed
Listening to words of love untill I fall asleep
Because I can't take these words
These words that speak such harsh, blunt honesty
Not tonight
No not tonight

Please don't leave me alone with myself
You're what gets me through
I can't have another night like tonight
Like every previous night without you
Don't walk away
Not again tonight

My heart wants to sing the words we once knew
When your hand was in mine
And this world was so true
Please don't walk away
Not tonight
Please not tonight

Oh wow.. this was really good! Highly lyrical and could so easily be a song.. I don't know if you sing or not and if this is for someone special but if you love her you should share it with her (on paper or vocally .. why not?) .. love is many things including taking chances with feelings like this once in awhile. Amazing words that are catchy.. brilliantly put together and felt very real.
