I did it to you again

I did it to you again

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

i am sorry maybe if i had never let my slef fall to the s**t and say what i did maybe just maybe we would still be ment to be married

"

There was a time, not so long ago,
Happiness permeated, love could still grow;
But a foolish decision, and a betrayal,
I thought it was our final coffin nail.

Somehow we worked through it, and I was true,
I understood all the agony I put you through;
A year or two, unbridled bliss,
But I ruined it all with a stranger's kiss.

Another bad decision, another one-night stand,
My desire for self-destruction couldn't be worse if it was planned;
See what I did, I did it to you again,
But this time your heart won't mend.
