Next time

Next time

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

next time next time is all i hope for and i just wish i could know

"

You hold out at arms length
And expect me to stay
Pulled me from your warm safe embrace
Wishing these feelings would disappear
Your miles away and when i wish to see you
Only one thought crosses your mind
You're a girl so I suppose it should be expected
Is this all I am in your eyes
A late night addiction
A sweet surrender in the dark
Never to be more then a moan on your lips
Never to be the one you proudly claim
This is him
I only get see you next time
There won't be one
I wish but I know this true
But I'll be there the day you call
