Lonely Moon

Lonely Moon

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

itsso loney just like me

"

It was our lover's moon
our connection to the universe
But now you're gone, and all I see
is the moon, lonely and abandoned
I wish it would just fall out of the sky
And crumble into the earth
So I wouldn't have to look up
And see my lost self
mirrored in his face.
