Absentee

Absentee

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

you are not here yet you are right?

"

I really hate the way you yell at me.
Can't stand not being free.
The autumn leaves fall to the ground.
With them, maybe a new hope is found.

Change is never without cost.
And life can never be without loss.
The snow, it's melting on the leaves.
I'm hurting inside, don't looks deceive?

Only a wall is between us now.
It feels like worlds, I cannot allow.
Maybe we are destined to be,
Nothing more than absentee.
