Bruised heart

Bruised heart

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

you killed my heart, but you had more reasion then any one alive does

"

Bruised heart
Black and blue
Aches and pain
I think my heart
Will never be the same

Family and friends
Tell me everything be
Just fine that one day
that true love will
Someday be mine, but
Really all I want to hear
Is how I can get rid of this
Feeling.

You told me you would never
Leave and that I will always
Be your one and only. I know
We had our moments the good
The bad and also the ugly.

Lots of times I sit and cry
Tears falling felling my pillow
Shams, unable to eat all I do is
Sleep. This pain is going to be
The death of me. Need someone
To sent me free. Need you to
Come back to me. You bruised my
Heart the day we parted, blacked it with
Your words blued it with the sadness that
Is flowing threw me as I was listening
To the unkindness speech you gave to me.
My bruised heart will one day heal but right
Now it still hurts.

I liked your choice of words. So sorry for all the pain you went through i can sympathize:

my favorite: "You told me you would never
Leave and that I will always
Be your one and only. I know
We had our moments the good
The bad and also the ugly"
