The Unvieling of Love

The Unvieling of Love

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

my love for you is 1001%

"

My Love for you is not something to hide,

As when my work takes me away, I would rather be by your side,

Yet when apart we regret things left unsaid,

When Love should be shared in and out of bed,

Perhaps, someday you will see, you are where all of me belongs,

Just like those tales of Love, in those old-fashioned Love songs,

So until that day when life's shroud is lifted through our endless Love and with it all doubts,

We will go on having our sulks and shouts,

All part of Love's wonderful spell

The ins and outs can be heaven and hell,

And soon we will once more unveil our unashamed Love,

Knowing its our right a gift from God above.

This was incredibly touching. I especially enjoyed the line "The ins and outs can be heaven and hell". To me it says there's ups and downs in all relationships, but the downs make you appreciate the good. Even if that's not what you meant, I still really enjoyed it. Your message is powerful and inspiring; I wish I could show this to my parents, who just got divorced. But yeah, great poem, great message, and nice job with words and diction. I like your eloquence :)
