Phantom

Phantom

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

The Phantom is strong

"

Your heartbeat, pounding my eardrums
I can feel the rush of anxiety
Your essence flowing through my veins
Disgrace am I to society.....

Lurking, waiting, fully aware
of the darkness that is my aura
The bond I break, the vigor was there
Lifeless and limp in my arms

The rage, consumes me entirely
Afraid of all that I've done
The castle I built was to share
now only fit for one

The fangs that I bare are for killing
My silhouette outlined by hate
The past is haunting and chilling
No one deserves my fate.
