Deathly Fast Are We Gone.

Deathly Fast Are We Gone.

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

death you are my hero

"

Inspired by death,
So beautiful like black roses,
Inspired by leaving
A lack of care for the world
It's something I cherish
In beauty find comfort
And childish games
These are my ways
Rhyming is fun
But it's the emotion that stays
Forgotten a time
Where do we find ourselves again
Are we lost beneath the dirt
Do we fall into the shadows,
Counting the seconds
Aching for endless silence
Should we even say aloud such theological things
And what things are these
That enter on a doubtful, magical blanket
Are we shadowed singularly by those doubts in our minds
See? I am inspired by death
A beauty like black roses
There are cracks
In all our smiles
Aren't you tired?
Don't look down
The dirt won't help you breathe.
