Ugly

Ugly

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

I want it off!

"
I want to cut my face off
And throw it away...
I want to destroy
all the mirrors
let the shards fall all
around me
Let them sting my skin
and let the blood run red
Shove shards
Deep within
Cut my tongue out
So I can not
scream again
Shred my skin,
let the ribbons
fall on the floor
close and
lock the door
Blood pools all around me
Like black ink
in the moon light
I've built my hatred
Up for this night
I slit my throat
but I can still breath
my heart,
It still beats
No tears
fall from my eyes
Nobody around
To hear my
hateful cries
I love the blood
I love the pain
It makes all of the hate
Go away.
I lay down
In my blood
my hair soaked
and falling out
I drag my body
To the corner
and finally
Let the tears flow
and I cry
I punch my face
and drag my nails
across my body
I screech
"Kill me! Kill me!"
I try to yell...
but I can not speak
I slump against the wall
I ruined myself
My thoughts
Laced themselves
with death
and demons
I closed my eyes
And fell into
a deep sleep
One I'd never
Wake up from
I'd sleep forever...

Shocking and deeply disturbing, this dark read really twisted under my skin....you've painted quite a painful picture here...sorry you have the need to purge such angst. Extremely emoting this.
