My Morning Routine EverydayA Story by CandydThoughtsHow I start my day!
I WAKE UP EARLY
I have attempted a few times waking up at 5 AM in the morning, and it does have a lot of up sides, but I really do not need the extra hours. So I usually try to wake up around 7 AM like everyone else in the working world to get the normal start.
I DO NOT CHECK MY PHONE Social media is probably the number one addiction in today's society. Even though sometimes I want to check what has been going on in the world, It is best I do the things I have to do to start my day. Everyday I try to stay present in the morning, but I do fail a lot on this part because sometimes I just want to see if I get messages from people... I usually do not. I DRINK A BOTTLE OF WATER I get the fluids in! Health benefit alert, you end up losing a lot of fluids when you sleep. So replenish the reserves and jump start your internal engine by chugging a bottle of water. I MAKE MY BED I do this because even if I laz around all day and not complete any task, at least I made my bed. It will always be my first win of the day. (Usually is my only win) I DO MY BUSINESS Pee, Brush, Floss, Wash face. Simple and basic I MEDITATE FOR TEN MINUTES My favorite part of my morning. I have a whole article of the benefits of meditation. I enjoy this because I do a little mind cleaning and it gives me focus throughout my day. Also it does help me when I wake up sad. Meditation is better then medication remember this. I STRETCH FOR FOUR MINUTES I train everyday. Kick boxing, grappling, weight training, endurance training. My body always wakes up sore so I always do a makeshift of yoga and common sense stretches. I SKIP BREAKFAST Intermittent fasting is why I skip breakfast. Again do your research. But I feel the benefits of only eating twice a day. I love food always have but I have been more focused these past few months on my well being, and man this has helped me out a lot. I do drink a cup of black coffee doeeee I START THE DAY Like any other person I start my day... Yeah nothing to crazy like any other persons morning routine.
