She Trembles

She Trembles

A Poem by Amanda

She trembles as she weeps

 longing for her touch

She forgets while she sleeps

 dreaming what she must

In her hours of solitude

 she calls out Her name

Clinging to the memories

 that barely keep her sane

She trembles with every breath

 praying to be found

By the same cold death

That put her world in the ground
