Abuse The Darkness WithinA Poem by CJ Barnard
In a world that only seemed to love death and destruction,
More than it did its own existance, She found herself becoming distraught and dispondent, Unwilling and unable to care much for her own life any longer, Breaking down seemed to be a daily routine for her now. Surely humanity is at a loss, Never to be re-found? And shr too shall fall by the wayside as a mustard seed, Unplanted and unable to take root. Even so, She remains grateful for the chance, To be strewn across this beautiful space in time. © 2019 CJ Barnard |
