RideA Poem by Dream CatcherWell, just thoughts running.
Stitched lips,
With pride hanging on your hips. I've said it when your ears were closed, And I kept silent when they were open. Walking past the edge, Of our dreams and destiny. This brings a whole new meaning, To where the sidewalk ends. Hanging on the cliff, Piano notes dance in your head. The songs we sing when were in love, The songs we write when were heartbroken. Just barely missing your fate, I was too late to fly. Destiny, I hope I'll meet my maker, To figure out my eternity. If the sky truly is full, Maybe life wouldn't be so dull. Sinners are labels we toss aside, When our dear love is on the line. Travel, ride through the night, Stars and wind will guide you. If you get lost ask your fate, "Do I end here or do you end here?" Stitched heart, Even though you're ten minutes away, I feel so apart.
