Please Take My Hope.

Please Take My Hope.

A Poem by Dream Catcher
"

Something I wrote thinking about all the teens that suffer depression like me, and the ones that attempt, think, or do suicide..

"
Even if you're broken and defeated,
And everything has got you down,
Silently smile.
Even if you're alone and scared,
And through all the tears and hyperventilating,
Silently smile.
Even if those special thoughts grab hold,
And you're on the brink of destruction,
Silently smile.
Even if you're about to give up,
And about to cry or fade away,
Silently smile.
All your smiles keep me alive.
You're a beautiful individual,
No matter what anyone does,
Or says,
Don't give up on who you are.
You are worth living.
Being alone does hurt,
And there is someone out there,
Just like you,
That's burning to find you.
Even if you never find that person,
Don't give up on yourself.
Just smile to yourself.
Smile like no one is watching.
Smile till your lips are numb,
And wait for nature to bring them back.
Smile.
Even if you know you are alone,
And everyone has abandoned you,
You'll always have..
Your silent smile.

Author's Note

Dream Catcher
Depression and suicide is a very serious, important thing to me. My goal of writing is to inspire, give hope, teach, or lighten up the lives of people. I hope this helps in the slightest way. If you are thinking of suicide, there is hope. It may not seem like it, but there is hope. Feel free to talk to me, and I'll share my life story with you. Remember, there is always someone who loves you. And you always have yourself, and you are better than anyone.
