Baby, Poems Are Sweet. (Second Version).A Poem by Dream CatcherI add some requests to add onto this one, so I added on to it and just decided to make it another poem. (:No matter what you do to it, A word is still a word. Even if you broke its wings, A bird is still a bird. Take the words out of it and see, A song is still a song. Even if you make a thousand apologies, A wrong is still a wrong. You can run off with all the things you said to me, A love is still a love. Paint its white beauty black, A dove is still a dove. You can hide it behind smiles and laughs but, A tear is still a tear. Having someone there still won’t protect you, A fear is still a fear. Take the blue out of its sparkling water, An ocean is still an ocean. Even if you can only move your eye, A motion is still a motion. If all you do is watch the sky, A day is still a day. Abandon all the sand, A bay is still a bay. Take the lips off, A kiss is still a kiss. And when I’m gone your world will be blank, A miss is still a miss. Flood the throat of one, A scream is still a scream. Black and white slides of nothing, A dream is still a dream. Throw your heart up into the sky, A soar is still a soar. No matter how much one has, We will still always want more. Even if you get it smashed, A heart is still a heart. You always have to stay strong, Even when everything breaks apart.
