Make Your Movements a Mirror

Make Your Movements a Mirror

A Poem by Camryn Jeter

People will remember you for what you did, not who you are. That is the tragedy and truth. So make all that you do a reflection of yourself. If your soul is marked by kindness, do all that you must in kindness. If power is your given, do all that you must in strength. If you have colors in your eyes and creativity in your heart, then by God, make all that you encounter a work of art. Then, when people spread rumors of what you've done (as they always do) at least someone in the misguided string will know that whatever you did, you did with your heart.
