Solid Matter

We all fall in love with people and expect them to change... Do we fall in love BECAUSE we want to change them?

I am always soft for the ones who
are as the boulders are-
the ones who are hard through and through.
I always hand over my heart
to the people who appear to be missing one
themselves,
Because like boulders,
it is nearly impossible to make them melt
and immense force is required to break them
and once they are broken they can't be
pieced back together.
Perhaps my love for them
is a side effect of my efforts to change the
in changeable.
My greatest pleasure is doing things
people say I cannot do.
