For the Love of Language #3A Poem by Camryn JeterMy favorite in this series so far.I could never love someone dull who never wonders the big, huge questions like why the oceans are blue or how birds learn to fly or why we can't ..in most ways, anyway. I could not have affections for someone who doesn't gasp at the glory of heaven and how that stardusted velveteen expanse makes them feel microscopic and frail I can't respect people who don't appreciate the written language, Shakespeare, or a good cup of coffee because I inhale lyrics and rhythm and meter and exhale emotions and phrases and stanzas. I am simply interested in those who are like me- who look for the good in all who see the poetry in pictures and the lyrics in life. Everyone deserves the pleasure of possessing a soul which is sparked alive with the motion and flow and beat of language. It is a privilege to have art pulsing through me. © 2015 Camryn JeterReviews
